Grab your friends and let's get crafty! 

Join me Thursday, May 16th, 6:30pm - 8:30pm for a fun evening and make these form folded copper earrings. The best part (or at least my favorite) is painting them pretty colors with fire! Earring length is 1.5" but can be shortened if you prefer shorter earrings. This is a fun beginner level class. 

Classes will take place at Hot Shops Art Center in Studio 220.

Class size is a maximum of 8 students.

For all classes minimum age requirement is 16. 

Preregistration is required. Workshops are non-refundable.

What to Expect

During this class you will learn some basic techniques to form metal using pliers and other hand tools. You will also learn how to heat copper to create different colors on the surface. 

This class can be tiring on your hands if you have carpal tunnel.  

Safety: please do not wear any scarves, loose fitting shirts or flowing sleeves as these are fire hazard. If you have long hair, you will be required to have it pulled up, so bring a ponytail holder with you.

Classes will take place at Hot Shops Art Center located at:

1301 Nicholas Street, Omaha, NE 68102.

There will be available parking on 13th Street. Once you have parked, enter through the large red door with the sculpture above it and take an immediate right. Then take the stairs up to the second floor and go through the wood door and head to the far back left corner to studio 220. Come in and have some fun!
